Founded in 1954 by Ukrainian immigrants, Veselka is a three-generation, family-owned institution rooted in the heart of New York City’s East Village. For decades, the restaurant has honored its heritage by serving classic Ukrainian comfort food with the same warmth and care that built its loyal following.

Veselka partnered with The Working Assembly to introduce a new line of handcrafted frozen pierogi, bringing one of its most beloved dishes to homes across the country. Alongside the product launch, we refreshed and expanded the brand identity, carefully balancing modern needs with the classic New York character and iconic heritage that longtime fans know and love.
